katie + christian

From the time I got that first email...I knew this wedding was going to be a blast. Washington DC. Dupont Circle. October. The makings for a great day.

This was the most emotional wedding that I have ever been a part of. I shot thru watery eyes most of the ceremony. Guests followed Katie & Christian from St Thomas' Parish to Dupont Circle...where they gathered in front of the fountain for a few awesome group shots.

A short stroll to the Woman's National Democratic Club...and the par-tay was on it's way!

Katie & Christian, I can't thank you enough for choosing me to document your day. I will never forget the many special moments and the warmth that you extended my way. I truly felt like part of the family. Best of luck to the both of you!

Relive the day....

As I was looking through these, I was trying to keep track of my favorites for my comment. But there's too many and I can't remember half of them! lol. Very wonderful candids!

What can I say about this two love birds? Christian and Katie’s wedding was so emotional and full of love that we all felt really connected with them and had a blast! What an honor to take part of such wonderful wedding!

I loved the photos. Perhaps my favorite has to be the one with Katie screaming out loud in front of the church! But wait, I also loved the candid picture of Christian carrying Katie while they were still inside the church…too many great shoots! FUN shoots :)

You are remarkably talented John!!

What artistry! The little tiny view of the bride and her father was amazing. The street people in Dupont Circle broke me up. The take off of Abby Road and the shots that looked like they came out of a photo machine were priceless.
