06dec08 brought one of the coldest days of the year for gena & roger's wedding. the vandiver inn set the scene -- a quaint, warm, cozy b&b nestled in havre de grace. friends and family planned to celebrate to the fullest by filling up the inn and neighboring properties. light snow provided the final touch for an absolutely perfect winter wedding.
gena & roger...thanks so much for allowing me to document your day. you are both so genuine and fun to be around. i really felt like part of the family.
special thanks to the vandiver's owner john and event planner extraordinaire chasi.
here's a BIG sneak peek of what's to come....

beautiful photos. another wedding well done!
Another set of beautiful pics. You must be in great demand in your area. While looking at these, the bride reminded me of a friend of ours who got married like 8 years ago. The reception was a B-L-A-S-T and everyone partied pretty hard....including the bride from the reception in the adjoining room that her reception was in. LOL. She was at our friends wedding dancing and drinking with everyone. OMG, she actually said HER party was boring.
I often wonder how long that marriage lasted. ha ha ha
thanks sheila. i'm working on the "great demand" part of things :)
john - amazing pictures- the wedding was a BLAST - you captured the most important shots - which were the true emotions of the people we love most in the world - what we wanted out of this wedding was not only celebrate our becomming a family - but to celebrate each and every person in that room - to let them know that each and every one of them had touched our lives in some way - and if God blesses us with good health and a long life - we would love for you to celebrate our 50 year mark with us. Until then... much love and thanks - gena & roger
John - Incredible pictures as always...I think Amanda and I will need to get married again just so you can capture all the moments! :)
so good to hear gena. if i'm lucky enough to be around in 50 years...you've got yourself a deal :)
thank michael. i'm ready when you and amanda are.
Your work is classic, John! Great stuff!
